Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver - Class B CDL

About the role

Receive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory at Shepherd Electrical Supply, the oldest wholesale electrical distributor in the Baltimore/Washington area.

Responsibilities

• Perform all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and materials according to manufacturer instructions and intended use.
• Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse; follow all Company safety procedures and perform daily safety inspections.
• Unload delivery vehicles, accurately identify materials, break down shipments, and note any discrepancies.
• Accurately store product in designated locations, using light equipment as required.
• Select and pack customer orders following outlined processes to ensure conformance to customer standards.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties: operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
