The Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver position at Reece & Fortiline is a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of essential services. This role involves working cooperatively in a team to manage inventory and deliver materials to customers.
Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively in a team within the warehouse to efficiently receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
- Verify all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries.
- Properly load and unload materials from the truck, maintaining inventory control.
- Operate the appropriate class of vehicle for the assignment.
- Drive in various conditions, including urban and construction settings.
- Deliver high quality customer service and professionalism.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license for the assigned vehicle class.
- Class C – Vehicles weighing 26,000 lbs or less combined gross weight.
- Class B – Box trucks with a combined vehicle weight of 26,001 lbs or more.
- A clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Forklift certification.
- Opportunities to advance into leadership, CDL driver, or sales roles.
- Physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working indoors/outdoors.
