Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

About the role

The Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver position at Reece & Fortiline is a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of essential services. You will play a key part in delivering materials to customers while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively in a team within the warehouse to efficiently receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
• Verify all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries.
• Properly load and unload materials from the truck, and maintain inventory control.
• Operate the appropriate class of vehicle for the assignment.
• Drive in various conditions, including urban and construction settings.
• Deliver high quality customer service and professionalism.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for the assigned vehicle class.
• Class C – Anything 26,000 lbs or less combined gross weight.
• Class B – Box truck with a combined vehicle weight of 26,001 lbs or more.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Forklift certification.
• Opportunities to advance into leadership, CDL driver, or sales roles.
• Physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working indoors/outdoors.

• Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, copiers, and other office tools.
• Near vision, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in close proximity to equipment.
• Speaking, speech clarity, and speech recognition skills.
• Writing, reading, and written comprehension and expression skills.

Pay

$16.90 - $21.85 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
