Warehouse Associate - Day Shift
About the role
A large, established consumer packaging manufacturing operation on Long Island is looking for General Laborers to join its production and warehouse team. This is a hands-on role helping keep product moving through the facility, staging materials, handling packaging, and preparing shipments.
Responsibilities
- Stage trays, cages, pallets, cartons, dollies, skids, cut material, folded material, and waste containers as needed
- Move chipboard on and off dollies and skids
- Band and stretch wrap materials to prepare them for shipment
- Support general material movement throughout the production floor
- Keep work areas organized and clear during shift
Requirements
- Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor role
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout a full shift
- Ability to work the scheduled day shift, Monday through Friday (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Ability to pass a full clearance process prior to start
- Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team on the production floor
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience operating a forklift or clamp truck
- Experience working in a packaging or corrugated production environment
- Material handling experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Comfort using pallet jacks, dollies, and other basic material moving equipment
- Basic packaging or shipping preparation experience, such as banding or wrapping product for shipment
Pay
$17.50 per hour

Day Shift – 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
