Warehouse Associate Day Shift

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America. We serve residential and commercial customers across the new construction and Repair & Remodel (R&R) markets with a portfolio including vinyl windows, vinyl siding, stone veneer, metal roofing, metal wall systems, and metal accessories.

About the role

Base pay starts at $18.00 per hour. Day Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM. This position includes potential overtime with shifts varying between 8, 10, and 12 hours depending on work orders and season.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product on trailers using packing lists to verify all parts are accounted for.
• Place parts on trailers safely to prevent damage during shipment, following manufacturing procedures.
• Understand and follow all safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment.
• Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading.
• Use various crating and packaging materials, metal bands, or other methods to secure and protect parts during shipment.
• Weigh trucks and ensure loads do not exceed maximum allowable trailer capacity.
• Monitor each load to ensure completeness and expedite work in process to meet production schedules.
• Assist with inventory counts as required.
• Maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Previous work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other lifting equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist.
