About the role

Warehouse Day equipment operators play a critical role in ensuring that the warehouse runs smoothly while setting up both shifts for success. Daily duties include replenishments, pallet put-away, stocking, lumping, receiving, stamping, tote cleaning, and other assigned tasks. Operators will use reach lifts, order pickers, walkie riders, and forklifts as needed, stock pick lines, and ensure items are placed in correct locations. Work may be performed in a team or solo setting, with or without equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail in all areas, including balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other assigned spaces.
  • Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
  • Packs products securely in cartons and totes.
  • Applies shipping ID and marks cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.
  • Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
  • Records amount of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Performs end-of-shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
  • Maintains clean and orderly workstation; returns supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
  • Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
  • Ensures the work area is safe and reports any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves and conveyors, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to approximately 50 to 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift.
  • Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
  • Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as forklift operation.
  • Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Schedule

4-day work weeks (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), 6:00 AM to finish.

Pay

$18.50/hour
