Warehouse Associate - Commercial Flooring

RFCI serves local, regional, and national General Contractors and maintains a broad project portfolio, including government, military, and retail/big-box clients.
About the role
The successful candidate will perform a variety of warehouse functions, including inventory control, receiving and processing incoming material, driving a forklift, staging materials, and loading material and supplies onto vehicles. This position requires operation of a DOT-regulated commercial motor vehicle (non-CDL) and involves up to 90% warehouse-based activities and approximately 10% local deliveries to project job sites.
Responsibilities
- Load flooring material onto company vehicles, drive to project job sites, and unload material.
- Unload, receive, and process incoming flooring materials and supplies.
- Prepare and complete flooring orders for pickup by subcontractors.
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and other inventory control activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with all DOT qualification requirements, including acceptable driving record, DOT medical certification, and company auto insurance coverage.
- 2+ years of warehouse job experience.
- Ability to perform basic math functions for product measurement.
- Experience with inventory, cycle counts, and receiving.
- Able to lift and carry 50–75 lbs. repetitively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage changing priorities.
- Lull telehandler and/or forklift certification is a plus but not required.
