Warehouse Associate - Box Collector (SUN-THURS)
About the role
The Box Collector is responsible for cleaning designated areas within the warehouse, collecting debris, garbage, empty boxes, and sorting reusable boxes for packing purposes. They will also operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock chasers, report discrepancies, and assist with inventory counts.
Responsibilities
- Collect boxes and deliver them to designated areas throughout the warehouse.
- Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
- Follow and commit to meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
- Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
- Operate machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
- Contribute to a culture and environment focused on employee safety and a safe work environment.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
- Absorb and perform other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
- Flexible with start and departure time changing.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest).
Skills
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay
$18.54 hourly
Schedule
Sunday-Thursday (Full-Time, Non-Exempt) Sunday (11am-7:30pm) Monday-Thursday (12pm-8:30pm)
Protective Equipment
Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest).
Physical Demands
- Stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.
- Frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stopping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms that are up to 50lbs.
Working Environment
- The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
- The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
