Warehouse Associate Blue Springs

Brief Description

Meyer Laboratory is a rapidly growing nationwide chemical manufacturer. We are seeking a full-time individual with prior warehouse and order picking experience to join our team based in Blue Springs, MO.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders
• Palletizing product to be shipped out
• Shrink wrapping pallets
• Supporting warehouse functions such as stocking, counting inventory
• Routine maintenance and clean-up
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency of Meyer Laboratory
• Observing all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-year related work experience
• Pallet jack experience strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of urgency and initiative
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines
• Excellent attendance record and timeliness, required
• Prior forklift experience or certifications a plus
• Must be flexible with day-to-day job duties
• Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing protective gear when necessary
• Meeting physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear

Qualifications
