Warehouse Associate/Back up CDL Class A Driver
About the role
The Warehouse Associate and Backup Drivers support the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders, making deliveries, and maintaining facilities.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pulls, fills, packs, and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
- Assists in loading the delivery truck.
- Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
- Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pickup.
- Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks, and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
- Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
- Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
- Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
- Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- A valid driver's license (Commercial Driver’s License, CDL, if applicable), preferably with HAZMAT endorsement.
- A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Prior forklift experience.
- Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing preferred.

Pay
$20 - $23/ hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
