About the role

The role is located within a dynamic environment where new services like scaled composting programs and specialty recycling programs are tested and launched.

Responsibilities

• Receive, empty, and sort through containers filled with food scraps.
• Clean all containers (soaping, washing, rinsing) to prepare them for return to customers.
• Prepare finished compost (soil) for delivery to customers.
• Clean work vehicles and maintain a tidy work environment.

Requirements

• A physically active environment: working on your feet and willing to work outside in all elements.
• No squeamishness: can be around food scraps, bugs, and the smell of decomposition.
• Takes direction well, detail oriented, team player, self-motivated, and strong communicator.
