Schedule

Team 4 – Thursday to Saturday, every other Wednesday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (1 shift).

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers, verify proper stacking and ensure freight is not mixed on pallets unless instructed otherwise.
• Tape or stretch‑wrap pallets as required to ensure product stability.
• Count all product prior to storage, compare counts to the driver’s manifest, and check shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates.
• Report shortages, damages, and misplacements to the immediate supervisor.
• Move product to storage locations, stack and store it in appropriate areas, and verify receipt at the correct temperature.
• Identify and recover any received or shipping damage in line with company policy; report all shortages and overages.
• Assist with physical inventories using scanners and ensure proper stock rotation by following lot numbers.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct quantity, type, location, and lot numbers.
• Load product from staging or storage areas into railcars or trailers efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, slip‑sheet equipment, and other power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion; perform daily equipment inspections.
• Advise supervisors of any problems encountered and follow prescribed work methods.
• Maintain professional demeanor, participate in staff/customer meetings, and take initiative to prevent non‑conformities.
• Identify, record, and propose solutions for product, process, or quality issues; ensure solutions are implemented.
• Follow posted security procedures and participate in safety and educational training programs.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous high‑reach forklift and/or warehouse training.
• Physical abilities: Bend and lift up to 50 lb regularly; lift up to 70 lb occasionally with assistance; stand and walk for extended periods; lift overhead when required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed due to demand.
• Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements.
• Acceptable and/or correctable vision; ability to speak and hear for safety and productivity.
• Comfort working in temperature ranges of +50 °F to –30 °F with moderate noise levels.
• Proficiency with scanners, tablets, radios, phones, and other warehouse machinery.
• Strong arithmetic and reading skills; ability to understand and follow verbal, written, and policy instructions.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and coordinate with others in a fast‑paced environment.
• High level of personal interaction and communication with coworkers and customers.
