Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage according to company standards.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and delivery documents to ensure correct quantities and specifications.
- Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate departments for resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all received materials using inventory management systems and manual logs.
- Carefully coordinate with warehouse staff to properly store received goods and update inventory status.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during the receiving process.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, procurement, and production teams to facilitate timely receipt of materials.
- Aid in periodic inventory audits and support continuous improvement initiatives related to receiving operations.
- Pick, pack, label, and dispatch daily shipments to ensure all shipments meet customer specifications, routing instructions, and delivery timelines.
- Verify correct materials, quantities, and part revisions prior to shipment.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation including Packing slips, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), material certification (when applicable).
- Maintain accurate shipping records in ERP systems.
- Communicate shipment status, delays, or issues proactively.
- Ensure correct staging and segregation of finished goods.
- Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives within the shipping area.
- Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) and traceability requirements.
- Cook with carriers (FedEx, UPS, freight providers) for domestic and international shipments.
- Track shipments and resolve logistics issues (delays, damage, missing items).
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to labeling, packaging, and shipment release.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic inventory management systems and procedures.
- Experience with ERP systems and shipping documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications

- Basic understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
- Experience with inventory management software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Pay
- $15 - $18 per hour.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Swing Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
