Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Anderson-DuBose Company is now hiring Warehouse Receivers / Selector Associates! Depending on Operation's Needs, schedules will be discussed during the interview process and are based on Operation's Needs.

Responsibilities

• Ability to operate a STAND-UP LIFT
• Ability to put product away overhead
• Knowledge of handheld scanners
• Unload perishable and non-perishable from trailers and rail cars
• Operate STAND-UP style reach truck putting way items in dry, cooler, and freezer
• Follow food safety guidelines
• Track expiration dates and counts
• Selecting and stacking products
• Selecting, using a voice system, stacking on carts or pallets, wrapping and labeling products
• Staging product in proper staging areas
• Handling MHE
• Assist in keeping work areas clean
• Productive use of downtime
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the Manager or Supervisor

Requirements

• Be able to work any day of the week and weekend and be available for a flexible schedule to accommodate the 24/7 operation
• Be able to lift / push / pull 60 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal investigation

Skills

• Ability to work in multi temperature zones
• Understanding of how to locate products in the warehouse
• Operate equipment used to place pallet loads of products into storage
