Warehouse Associate

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and distributing all necessary equipment and fleet at the designated warehouse location. Reports to the Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, and Owner. Position status: Exempt/Non‑Exempt.

Responsibilities

• Handle and maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
• Conduct physical equipment and fleet counts and reconcile with data storage system
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Produce reports and statistics regarding all equipment as requested
• Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
• Represent the company and provide information and assistance to internal and external customers
• Under direct supervision, perform a wide range of warehouse duties for assigned functions or program areas, which may be complex and may involve access to confidential information
• Responsible for zero asset losses; ensure all necessary losses, damage and information are communicated timely to meet customer and company expectations
• Keep outside storage areas free of packing materials and litter

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Excellent communication skills
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
