Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
- Pick, stage, and load materials for delivery to job sites.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with basic maintenance and inspections of warehouse equipment.
- Communicate with project managers, foremen, and vendors to coordinate materials.
- Support logistics planning for special projects or urgent needs.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of warehouse, logistics, or construction materials experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with basic computer systems or inventory software.
- Valid driver’s license; forklift certification a plus.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor warehouse settings; may be exposed to varying weather conditions.
- Fast-paced environment with deadlines tied to project schedules.
