Description Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. delivers confidence through our products and our people. The Oklahoma City Flooring Team is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. Your Typical Day In The Flooring Warehouse Restocking warehouse inventoryAccurate and timely completion of receiving activities for cabinets and flooringTimely and accurate completion of periodic cycle countsLoad out flooring installers with their products for the dayPulling and staging of all cabinet and flooring materials for the next day’s businessAssist in delivery of cabinetsMaintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouseFollow all safety procedures and personal protection requirementsEmployees are responsible for proper and safe use, maintenance, and reporting of all company property Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and 100 lbs. as part of a team liftAptitude to use computers and web based programsAbility to use a calculator and make basic math calculationsCommunication, organizational, and time-management skillsDemonstrated accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Experience At least 1 year of current forklift experienceBilingual – Spanish/EnglishFlooring Material/Cabinetry knowledge Environment & Physical Requirements The work environment characteristics here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and climb. This role will require extended periods of sitting in a vehicle while on deliveries. Regular exposure to cold, hot, wet, dry and/or humid conditions.
