About the role
Responsible for managing the composting process, supervising the team, and ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the composting facility
- Supervise and train the composting team
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and safety protocols
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in composting or similar environmental management roles
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- Knowledge of composting processes and environmental regulations
- Experience with composting equipment and machinery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
