Warehouse Associate

About the role

As a Warehouse Associate for Sierra Forest Products, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and enhance our customer experience through our Warehouse functions. Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stack products using a forklift
• Prepare order for shipment, ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Handle freight and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements
• Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in the correct storage location
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Key updated inventory into the ERP system
• Report any discrepancies in inventory to management
• Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift license required
• Previous forklift experience required
• Lumber or panel experience is an asset
• Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75lbs repetitively and safely

Pay & Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift
• Rate: $24-$26/hr
• Location: Guilderland Center, NY
• Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
