Warehouse Associate

About the role

This is a full-time, direct-hire position at InProduction, the largest provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenic production for the United States events industry. Whether working in the field, yard, warehouse, or office, you’ll help deliver top-notch service to our client partners while upholding our core values of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by physically checking them
• Check products for defects and accuracy
• Pull, pack, and ship finished goods
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places
• Pull orders from shelves, then place and secure them onto pallets
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment in need of maintenance
• Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
• Maintain clean and properly stored tools and equipment at the end of each shift
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities
• Occasionally assist on local job sites (building and tearing down structures, loading trucks)
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Required license or certification: Forklift License
• Preferred: Current valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel occasionally to U.S. construction sites
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and industrial equipment
• Able to work overtime occasionally
• Able to read and understand safety instructions
• Preferred: Forklift experience and license
• Preferred: Experience with loading/unloading trucks (flat-beds and/or trailers)
• Preferred: Small engine repair and maintenance skills
• Able to stand continuously for long periods
• Able to repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs

Work Environment

• Exposed to excessive noise
• Around moving machinery

• Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may be required at times
