Responsibilities
- Load and unload household goods from trucks and trailers
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure items are properly protected and stored
- Scan items into and out of storage using the warehouse management system
- Stack, organize, and handle cargo in wooden vaults
- Maintain accurate inventory records and logs
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Aid with additional warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience in a moving industry is a plus
- Experience working with wooden vaults preferred
- Able to lift at least 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule availability
- Reliable ability to commute to 4555 W Grand Ave, Chicago
- Forklift certificate is a big plus
Schedule
- Morning shift: 6am-3pm
- Afternoon shift: 11am-7pm
- Hours may vary and weekends availability is required
Pay
$18.00 – $21.00 per hour
