Warehouse Associate

About the Role

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for using safe lifting techniques, efficiently sorting, handling, loading, and unloading freight from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks. This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check as a condition of employment. Certain felony convictions and convictions involving violence, theft, abuse, dishonesty, or breach of trust may disqualify candidates based on the nature of the position and applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Works with different departments to meet demands of the business
• Communicates any issues to the supervisor that can arise from loading and unloading
• Keeps up to date with new systems and technology
• Participates in daily inventory processes, auditing, and researching discrepancies
• Demonstrates reliability and commitment to punctuality
• Performs all job tasks as assigned (may vary depending on client requirements)
