About the role
Warehouse Associate responsible for loading, unloading, and moving material within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
Responsibilities
- Receives instructions from the Foreman or Materials Manager to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys the load to the destination.
- Counts, weighs, and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet.
- Operates industrial truck and crane to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Operates forklift.
- Identifies raw materials and their storage locations.
- Documents material moves within the warehouse.
- Reviews the bill of materials and work orders.
- Pulls material and kits into bins for specific work orders.
- Safely performs duties; wears required PPE at all times.
- Observes and complies with all the provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS.
Requirements
- Vocational/technical training needed, or a High school diploma or general education degree.
- Work experience in an industrial manufacturing or paint shop setting.
