Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the selecting and prepping of orders using RF scanners, forklifts, and pallet jacks, providing support in preparing and packaging orders following REEP Fitness shipping guidelines, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and cleaned to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep picking locations full by utilizing RF Scanner for inventory replenishment.
• Load/unload containers, utilizing safe body mechanics.
• Inspect and count incoming shipments.
• Perform inventory "put aways" utilizing scanner.
• Ensure that the warehouse is organized and cleaned to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Prepare and package orders following Rep Fitness shipping guidelines.
• Able to work in a deadline driven, fast paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 - 2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Forklift certification and/or experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Constantly required to sit and use hands to operate the telephone, type and operate the computer and mouse.
• Frequent physical effort may include stooping, kneeling, touching, feeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
• Sometimes required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 100 pounds assisted.
