Warehouse Associate

Full-time, temporary-to-permanent position located in Farmers Branch, TX. Initial contract duration: 3 months. Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, including both dry goods and frozen products, following company standards.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and promptly report discrepancies.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to pick and pack both dry goods and frozen products accurately.
• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature environments (including freezer areas).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Knowledge of basic safety procedures and ability to follow company policies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Skills

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
• Proficiency in using warehouse management software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and reach regularly.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures within the warehouse.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving machinery.
• Occasional overtime may be required to meet operational needs.
