Warehouse Associate

About the role

At PRO CHEM INC, we've been helping businesses across the U.S. keep their facilities running smoothly for over 50 years by supplying high quality, environmentally friendly industrial maintenance products that are essential to a variety of industries. We're looking for a dependable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join the team in our small distribution center in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders based on customer specifications.
• Review orders prior to packaging for accuracy and quality.
• Pack orders to ensure that it reaches our customer in excellent condition.
• Properly label customers’ packages with Packing Slips and Shipping Labels.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Sweep/clean warehouse area, as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of warehouse and forklift experience required
• Detail-oriented and ability to stay organized
• Basic math, communication, and English proficiency skills
• Fundamental computer literacy
• Willingness to assist co-workers in areas outside of their direct responsibility
• Dedicated to excellent attendance & reliability

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50-70 lbs
• Must feel comfortable retrieving products from shelves ranging as high as 20 ft
• Occasional exposure to industrial environments, may be exposed to hot and cold conditions
