Warehouse Associate
About the role
The Warehouse Associate/Driver/Counter position at Plumbing & Heating Wholesale, Inc. is a full-time role based in or around the Carroll, IA area. This role involves a mix of warehouse tasks, counter duties, and driving, with the potential for cross-training.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and timely processing and storing of incoming shipments and clearly identifying/packing all incoming products.
- Picking and packing orders and transfers for pickup and delivery safely.
- Loading and securing orders for efficient, timely delivery and verifying order accuracy.
- Processing incoming shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Checking incoming freight for damage and processing damage according to company policy.
- Removing tag-and-hold products from incoming transfers and placing them in the proper location.
- Notifying Purchasing Department of all receiving discrepancies.
- Pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pick-up.
- Loading trucks to ensure no product is damaged during shipment.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 80 lbs).
- Two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Product/applications experience preferred.
- Wholesale distribution experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of company products.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Professional in communication and appearance.
- Motivated to learn and grow professionally.
- Available to work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM.
