Warehouse Associate
About the Role
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Inspect products for damage and verify accuracy of shipment contents.
- Organize and store inventory in the correct locations.
- Label and store chemicals according to company standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
- Assist in periodic warehouse cleaning and waste disposal.
- Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals.
- Work with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Previous warehouse experience (1-2 years).
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of SAP & Excel.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Teamwork, dependable, and reliable.
