Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and deliveries.
- Be available and prepared to assist with receivables during scheduled delivery times.
- Verify received products against packing slips, purchase orders, and other documentation.
- Properly label, stage, and store incoming materials and inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory organization and assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Keep warehouse, storage areas, loading areas, and other facility spaces clean and organized.
- Regularly sweep, clean, remove trash, and maintain overall facility appearance.
- Organize products, supplies, equipment, and materials to maximize available space and accessibility.
- Maintain clear and unobstructed aisles, work areas, exits, and loading areas.
- Assist with picking, packing, staging, and moving products throughout the facility.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, as trained and authorized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Report damaged products, facility issues, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to management.
- Assist with general warehouse and facility tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach to all responsibilities.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or facility experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, management, vendors, and delivery personnel.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to [XX] pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to safely work in a warehouse and loading/unloading environment.
