Warehouse Associate

Location: Suwanee, GA

About the role

Warehouse Associates are individual contributors responsible for executing warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods — receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching goods while maintaining accurate data in the ERP (SX.e) system. This role will primarily focus on packing but requires flexibility for other tasks (sorting, loading, picking, receiving, put away, etc.) as needed. This is a same-day ship facility with a very fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders; read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move/gather/distribute
• Unload, receive, and put away incoming goods; unpack bales/crates/containers; check for damage and invoice discrepancies; install strapping/bracing/padding as needed
• Sort, label, move, and store goods per predetermined sequence (size, style, product codes); optimize warehouse space
• Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure standards compliance
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods using pick sheets (paper/electronic); use pallet jack or forklift following stacking policies; verify product/quantity accuracy
• Load trucks for customer delivery; check for damage and shipping discrepancies
• Consolidate freight for shipping; verify shipping method; handle/communicate oversize loads; maintain shipping routes
• Enter data into ERP/database systems to maintain stock records; retrieve information for inquiries; document discrepancies on error logs

Experience

• 1+ year of relevant experience and/or training
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment
• Forklift/cherry picker experience - preferred

Eligibility & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent - preferred (not required)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Attention to detail and safety-minded approach

$18.00 / hr
