About the role
A detail-oriented Warehouse Associate who will handle inventory control, loss prevention, and shipping and receiving documentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the rotation of inventory within the warehouse by preparing shipments and staging and verifying incoming material
- Use powered industrial equipment (forklift, hand-crane, pallet jack, shrink wrap machine, etc.)
- Load and unload goods to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles in an organized and efficient manner
- Notify managers of any major maintenance issues encountered
- Properly use Timekeeping App to ensure accurate time-management
- Demonstrate thorough understanding and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures
- Ensure safety procedures remain a priority by maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required
- Must be a team player
- 1+ years of prior warehouse and forklift experience
- Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time
- Able to operate GPS, electric lifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
- Customer service skills and ability to represent the company appropriately
- Clean driving record
