About the role
A detail-oriented Warehouse Associate responsible for inventory control, loss prevention, and shipping and receiving documentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the rotation of inventory within the warehouse by preparing shipments, staging and verifying incoming material.
- Use powered industrial equipment (forklift, hand-crane, pallet jack, shrink wrap machine, etc.).
- Load and unload goods to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles in an organized and efficient manner.
- Notify managers of any major maintenance issues encountered.
- Properly use Timekeeping App to ensure accurate time-management.
- Demonstrate compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure safety procedures remain a priority by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be a team player with 1+ years of prior warehouse and forklift experience.
- Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time.
- Able to operate GPS, electric lifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
- Customer service skills and ability to represent the company appropriately.
- Clean driving record.
