Essential Responsibilities

  • Load and unload product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
  • Stage deliveries.
  • Store all product in designated location.
  • Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.
  • Absorb appropriate and authorized signatures on paperwork.
  • Absorb customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
  • Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain grounds by picking up papers and trash and cleaning parking lot and entrance to building.
  • Maintain stock and merchandise area, keeping it organized and clean.
  • Ensure cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks and aisles through mopping, sweeping, and washing.
  • Remove trash daily by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal area, and recycling materials.
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.

Non-Essential Responsibilities

  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.

Education & Professional Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Professional Experience: 1+ Years general work experience preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure completion of work.
  • Knowledge of general warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of the equipment and function of Powered Industrial Trucks for product relocation and safety inspection.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (preferred).

Physical Demands

  • Sitting frequently.

  • Hearing frequently.
  • Lift or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Usage of hands and fingers.
  • Reaching with hands and arms.
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally.
  • Sight is required to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Scope

Work is closely managed and reviewed for accuracy and adequacy. Follows specific, outlined, and detailed directions. Performs assigned tasks only as instructed, subject to regular check of performance. Failure to accomplish results can normally be overcome without significant effect on the organization.

Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor and others in group or department to give and receive information.

Pay

Competitive Pay rate of $20.00 per hour * depending on qualifications and experience.

Legal Authorization

Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
