Warehouse Associate

About the role

Join Mattress Firm and help people sleep well so they live well. Our supply chain team ensures smooth shopping experiences. Warehouse workers play a crucial part in this process.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.
• Stage deliveries and store products in designated locations.
• Inspect products for defects and damages during receipt and shipment.
• Obtain appropriate signatures on paperwork.
• Aid in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.
• Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.
• Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.
• Maintain grounds by picking up papers and trash, cleaning parking lot and entrance.
• Keep stock and merchandise area organized and clean.
• Clean and sanitize products according to company SOPs.
• Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
• Follow all company policies and execute standards on appearance and functionality.
• Report concerns or issues to leadership for efficient department and company operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of general warehouse experience preferred.

• Strong communication skills.

Pay

Competitive Pay Rate of $16.50 hourly, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional bonus opportunities may be available.
