Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing warehouse related functions such as handling merchandise, managing incoming or outgoing products, including shipping, receiving, transferring, stocking, picking, and pulling product for customers, vendors, and branch locations as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs inbound/outbound freight handling, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Accurately pick, pack, and distribute sales orders and transfers; maintain inventory accuracy through counts and discrepancy reporting.
• Operate warehouse tools and material handling equipment safely while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Load, unload, move, and stock materials efficiently; ensure products are secured and documented with proper bills of lading.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; proactively identify and report hazards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in warehousing or related functions.
• Strong aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• This position requires approximately 40–43 hours per week and involves routine physical activity, including:
  • Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs. (up to 100 lbs. occasionally).
  • Pushing/pulling loads up to 300 lbs.
  • Operation of forklifts and material handling equipment for extended periods (up to 6 hours daily).
  • Climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and sustained use of hands, arms, and feet.
  • Periods of sitting, standing, walking, and twisting throughout the shift.
