Warehouse Associate

About the role

This is a temporary-to-permanent full-time position depending on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Organize inventory in the warehouse
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks
• Generate new warehouse shipping and receiving delivery packing slips
• Record, document, and track inventory
• Perform material handling and sorting
• Inspect items upon receiving shipments
• Operate a forklift
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of clutter
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of GMP preferred

Physical and Environmental Conditions

The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. The activity level typically involves light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative and sedentary nature. This position may require lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work is generally performed in a well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation and may also be performed in a warehouse environment.
