About the role
The Logistics Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations within an R&D environment.
Responsibilities
- receiving and processing domestic and international shipments using SAP HANA systems
- labeling and inspecting materials
- organizing inventory in proper warehouse locations
- preparing materials for customer orders and outgoing deliveries
- maintaining accurate inventory records
- supporting shipping and receiving activities
- executing system transactions
- participating in continuous improvement initiatives
- ensuring warehouse safety, organization, and efficient material movement in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory-related roles
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to lift, move, and organize materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow processes and work independently or in a team environment
- High School Diploma or above
Skills
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP/inventory management systems
- Background in shipping & receiving, inventory control, or material handling
- Experience with domestic and international shipments
- Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain support
- Working knowledge of barcode scanners, labeling systems, and basic Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and material tracking
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP) is a plus
