Warehouse Associate

Description This position is responsible for shipping and receiving in the warehouse. The role will maintain safety, housekeeping, quality, customer service and productivity specifications. Responsibilities Shipping and receiving products while reviewing for damagesAccurately verify quantity and descriptions of inventory received from packing lists and purchase orderAccurately label and put away inventory in an orderly mannerEnsure all stock is properly storedStaging material shipments or customer pick up’s Utilize company specific software and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory information Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to process and follow order sequence and adjusting to sequence changesUtilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipmentPacking materials securely for transit without damageProcess small package and LTL shipmentsMaintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting processesResearch and report inventory discrepancies Meet deadlines with attention to detail while following quality requirementsMaintain a clean work environment and follow housekeeping requirementsFollow company safety policies and procedures Work independently and as a teamPerform other duties as assignedMaintain a professional mannerFollow directions provided by Leads, Supervisors, and Management Requirements Qualifications/Skills: Experience in a warehouse preferredExperience driving a forklift and/or ability to become certified on a forklift Experience with a WMS system and scanning technology Efficient time management skillsAbility to work overtime when requiredAttention to detail Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds individuallyAbility to make repetitive movements, including but not limited to bending and squattingHS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
