Warehouse Associate

About the Role

Interwest Transportation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Salt Lake City. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual with 1-2 years of warehouse experience who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, stand-up lifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while safely receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping freight. Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming freight
• Pick and stage customer orders accurately
• Pack and prepare shipments for delivery
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse SOPs
• Assist with cycle counts and other warehouse projects as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
