Warehouse Associate

About the role

Innovative Chemical Products Group (ICP Group) is seeking a Warehouse Associate for its Carroll, Lynchburg, VA plant. The associate will handle materials, ensure accurate receiving and shipping, maintain inventory integrity, operate a forklift and pallet jack, organize the warehouse, and assist other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jack.
• Verify that received products are accurate and undamaged before entering them into the system.
• Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and prevent damage.
• Enter receiving and inventory data into the ERP system.
• Retrieve pallets from racks for department requests and maintain an organized racking system.
• Act as a secondary check on inventory accuracy in addition to system tracking.
• Track non‑inventory items as required.
• Perform basic math calculations using a scale and calculator.
• Receive and process FedEx and UPS deliveries.
• Assist other departments with warehouse‑related needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Ensure data entry is accurate and up to date.
• Maintain quality control standards for received and shipped materials.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and enter data into an ERP system.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills, including use of a scale and calculator.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Team‑oriented mindset with flexibility to assist other departments.

Work Environment

The position is in a warehouse setting with occasional exposure to varying temperatures. The associate will be standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.

Pay

$19.00 per hour.

Schedule

1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
