Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of general warehouse duties, including pulling, packing, and sorting items for shipping and receiving. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing products within the Sales Center.
About the Role
This position requires a high school diploma and previous warehouse or shipping dock work experience. Key responsibilities include order processing and fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory management, warehouse maintenance, communication, and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
- Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping or pickup.
- Organize and prioritize shipments for various carriers and job sites, staging orders for easy loading and verification.
- Read and process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions.
- Ship and receive merchandise, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following established safety procedures.
- Perform facilities maintenance duties as needed.
- Sweep, dust, and mop the warehouse.
- Wear proper safety equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, sales staff, coworkers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Auxiliary duties may include assisting in loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trucks, performing light assembly duties, and following established standard operating procedures.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to lift 50 – 75 lbs pounds safely.
- Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
Qualifications
High School Diploma. Previous warehouse or shipping dock work experience is preferred.
Skills
