About the role
The Warehouse Associate will support the day-to-day operations of the Marietta warehouse, including receiving, organizing, picking, packing, moving, and preparing products and materials for shipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in organization and accuracy, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize medical device equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.
- Handle and clean medical device equipment with attention to detail, ensuring equipment is properly prepared for the next stage of processing.
- Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming products and materials.
- Pick and prepare orders accurately for shipment.
- Pack, label, and stage products for outbound shipments.
- Load and unload deliveries while following proper safety procedures.
- Verify products, quantities, and shipping information for accuracy.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Properly handle, move, and store inventory and equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Follow established warehouse processes, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Use warehouse equipment and tools safely and appropriately.
- Communicate inventory issues, damaged products, discrepancies, or other concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse and operations team members to meet daily goals and deadlines.
- Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management or inventory systems.
- Forklift/PIT experience or certification is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures.
