Schedule
The standard work hours for 1st shift are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. When overtime is necessary, the schedule will shift to 7:30am to 5:00pm. Additionally, some Saturdays may be required, with hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Additional overtime may be necessary.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the style, size, and quantity of product is accurate.
- Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations with material handling equipment.
- Meet company performance standards for productivity.
- On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment.
- Conduct physical inventories as required.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Comply with OSHA Standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Working knowledge in MS Word, Excel, or similar computer software systems
- Ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations to sufficiently perform duties of the job
- Attendance at work and punctuality is essential
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively
- The ability to follow directions is extremely important
- Required frequently: sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time as well as kneeling, squatting, bending, and reaching
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Must be able to count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
Pay
Starting at $18.00 per hour.
