Warehouse Associate

About the role

GEMCO Medical is seeking Warehouse Associates for a newly opening distribution center in West Jordan, UT. This non-customer-facing, task-oriented role involves shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and facility maintenance services in a clean, climate-controlled environment. The facility is fully air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter, with no protective clothing required—comfortable attire such as sneakers, t-shirts, and jeans is acceptable.

Qualified candidates are eligible for a $500 signing bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Package and ship orders following packaging guidelines and accepted methods.
• Unload, sort, count, package, and label received inventory.
• Operate distribution center equipment (e.g., forklifts) safely and efficiently.
• Use WMS RF scanners and computer systems for various warehouse activities.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and perform general upkeep.

Requirements

• Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and communicate effectively.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance.
• Familiarity with standard warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Willingness to work in a multi-task, team-oriented environment and accept responsibility.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Recognize products by code, packaging, and description.
• Basic math, computer, and reading comprehension skills.
• High attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Schedule

Full-time positions available with the following shifts:

• Monday through Friday, 9:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Monday through Friday, 12:15 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (includes shift differential).
