Warehouse Associate

Geiger Pump & Equipment is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Associate to work in our York, Pennsylvania office.

About the role

The Warehouse Associate will handle receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory within distribution and fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

• Champion Geiger’s core values of Continuous Improvement, Customer focus, and Teamwork.
• Handles general tasks like loading and unloading and stocking shelves.
• Pulls orders from inventory and packages them for safe delivery.
• Verifies incoming and outgoing delivery paperwork, invoices and product conditions.
• Occasionally assists with valve and actuator assembly, staging, and equipment preparation.

Requirements

• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness and ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload to meet customer requirements.
• A well-organized and self-directed team player with passion for winning.
• Ability to work with various computer programs including ERP software.
• A positive, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Schedule

This position is 12–18 hours per week, 2–3 days per week.
