Warehouse Associate

About the role

Located in our Brandon, SD plant, you will be a Warehouse personnel. Our distribution center works closely with our production plant to warehouse and ship Gates finished hydraulic hoses and their various parts.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials and deliver them to production
• Packaging and shipping of finished hoses, marked with the Gates logo, to customers worldwide
• Handling inbound shipments, processing outbound orders, completing paperwork, filling orders, operating forklifts, and maintaining inventory
• Collaborating to support safety, productivity, and the delivery of high-quality products
• Demonstrating safe work habits and adhering to all safety requirements
• Inspecting materials visually and physically to ensure compliance with established standards
• Planning, evaluating, setting up, and operating necessary equipment while verifying compliance
• Utilizing scanners and internal production systems efficiently

Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal English instructions throughout all processes
• Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is essential for this role
• Available to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed
• Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, up to 65 lbs
• Basic proficiency in reading, math, computer usage, and measurement skills required
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong understanding of and commitment to collaborative manufacturing processes
• Willingness to support team members, step in as needed, and share knowledge for cross-training purposes
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
