Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities
- Provide service to customers entering the warehouse
- Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
- Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size
- Perform minor building maintenance when necessary
- Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials
- Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse
- Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc
- Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories
- Offloading of containers and flat racks
- Assist inventory coordinator with cycle counts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment
- Use proper lifting techniques
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
- Train in all required company training programs
- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
- Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs. utilizing proper lifting procedures
- Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned
- Offloading of containers and flat racks
- Assist inventory coordinator with cycle counts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training
Compensation and Benefits
The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Base: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
