Warehouse Associate

Two openings are available: one for seafood and one for gourmet side. The warehouse associate will load and unload delivery vehicles (both outgoing and incoming), select products from the warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to the delivery area, and load merchandise. The role also includes unloading stock from delivery vehicles, transporting it to, and storing it in designated warehouse positions while keeping the work environment clean, tidy, and compliant with all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Accepting delivery of inventory.
• Counting and confirming inventory.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicating errors with relevant parties.
• Marking and labeling stock.
• Storing inventory in an accessible manner.
• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
• Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work experience as a general laborer, preferably in a refrigerated warehouse.
• Ability to operate a forklift proficiently.
• Strong people skills.
• Good moral character.
• Willingness to work in a cold climate of 35º.
• Must be able to lift 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to frequently push, pull, bend, squat, and reach.
• Physically strong, agile, and dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Available to work extended hours as needed.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to operate a forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack safely as required.

Schedule

• Night shift from Sunday to Friday.
• One weekday designated as a day off.
• Shift hours: 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
