Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Associate will manage domestic and international truckload and LTL freight, assist with customer and intracompany orders, use forklift and electric pallet jack to load and unload pallets, apply labels to boxes and scan them into the system, receive, transfer, and send orders using the inventory system, and support the freight needs of production and distribution centers.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international truckload and LTL freight.
• Aid with customer and intracompany orders.
• Use forklift and electric pallet jack to load and unload pallets.
• Apply labels to boxes and scan them into the system.
• Receive, transfer, and send orders using the inventory system.
• Support the freight needs of production and distribution centers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Systems
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Ability to cope with ambiguity and problem solve
• Strong communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or other related focus preferred (commensurate experience considered in lieu of education)
• Proficient in Microsoft System
