Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Using a radio-frequency gun (RF) fills, packages and ships orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Processes incoming product in a timely and accurate manner, checking for damaged products
• Understands and determines the status of orders at any given time
• Answers the telephone politely and accurately, taking accurate messages or referring calls to the appropriate person
• Follows tag and hold procedures for all incoming shipments and keeps the hold area clear and accessible
• Follows any special instructions pertaining to an order
• Points out any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the Warehouse Manager or Inventory Control Specialist
• Labels outbound material with appropriate shipping labels
• Ensures documents/system match actual quantities/items picked
• Keeps the warehouse area clean and organized
• Follows all safety procedures

Qualifications

• Good computer knowledge and skills, and the ability to learn First Supply LLC’s business system
• Organizational skills related to managing paperwork and time
• The ability to work within a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
• Experience with handheld RF units (preferred)
• The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
